That's right. This year we visited Santa Claus in Muleshoe, Texas. We even had an appointment, and thank goodness Santa is on North Pole time, especially since we forgot that there was a time change between New Mexico and Texas. But all is good... because Max was able to personally ask Santa for some Elf Cookies. Because that's all he wants for Christmas. Elf Cookies.
After our visit, we ate lunch at La Tea Da - a quaint little Tea Room plopped in the barren wilderness of Texas. And who knew that you could find the best gingerbread chai latte in the whole world on the dusty road to Muleshoe.

So stinkin' cute! Keith peeking around the giant nutcracker reminds me of the photo of your dad peeking around the pillar in the upper room. Remember?
